Tyler Adams

Tyler Adams has been tattooing professionally since 1995 everywhere from San Diego and Portland to Paris. After moving to Portland in 2002, Adams first tattooed at the legendary Sea Tramp Tattoo with Don Deaton and next at Paul Zenk and Amanda Myer's Infinity Tattoo in North Portland. Here are a few topics and styles I prefer. I definitely love classic tattoo designs that include a nautical theme with boats, mermaids and the like. I enjoy traditional designs that include roses, daggers, birds, butterflies and animals in general. I mostly work in black, but will include color minimally. With that said, I’m open to your ideas. I have a hard time refusing clients even if their ideas are totally out of my wheelhouse. Tattoos I do not enjoy: lion heads, tree sleeves, realistic anything, “watercolor tattoos”, city skylines, quotes, triangles within triangles, circles within circles, this list is making me laugh, compasses, sports logos.
